Bluff Shoal Motel

Located in the center of the village, Bluff Shoal Motel is small and quiet. The one story brick building was built in 1966 and was completely remodeled in 1990.  Our large, comfortable rooms have two double beds, carpeting, ceramic baths with tub and shower, small refrigerators, remote-color-cable TV and telephones.  Cable channels include Showtime, CNN, Headline News, and ESPN 1&2.  The air conditioning and heat are room controlled.  We offer the option of windows that open for the large part of the year when neither the heat nor the air conditioning is needed.  Park at your door and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of reading or people watching from the front porch or use our small boat dockage to spend an afternoon watching the activities on the harbor. 

Open all year, we cater to the vacationer who comes to Ocracoke for relaxation.  We are a short walk from gift shops, general stores, restaurants and Park Service boat harbor.  Our rates are reasonable and change with the seasons.  Our lowest rates are in effect from November through March.  We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover cards.  Reservations are recommended and a deposit of one night's rent is required.  Our cancellation policy is 3 days notice.  Comments from our guest include such words as charming, comfortable and clean.  Our desire is to make you feel at home and to do everything we can to make your vacation a pleasant and relaxing one.
